Redirects forced searches (like Windows Desktop Search of MSN) to a search engine of your choice.SearchMyWay will redirect default Windows Desktop Search to the search engine of your choice, and/or redirect searches to multiple engines in side frames. How to use (by FoaMDarT):
SearchMyWay was mainly designed for Windows Desktop Search, which forces you to search using MSN by default. By selecting "Don't use frames" in the Options.. and changing "Redirect (1)" to the Google search string (the default setting of the plugin), Windows Desktop Search searches will automatically be sent to Google.
Here's the fun part though. Setting "Use frames" you can send your search to 2 search engines at once. Personally, I like to use Google in the left frame, and Answers.com in the right frame. However, you could put any other site you want in either frame. THIS CAN BE DONE FOR GENERAL GOOGLE SEARCHES AS WELL. Just change "Redirect From" to the Google string.
Some examples (copy and paste into the Redirect box of your choice):
Google Images: http://images.google.com/images?q=
Answers.com: http://www.answers.com/
Any search string you can use in Maxthon's various customizable search services you can use in MySearch.
