Allows you to search and check HTTP proxy servers./Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, English/

Features:
- collect HTTP proxies from Public Proxy Servers and check validity with Online Proxy Checker,
- can search proxies by location and anonymity,
- can export proxies to any local file, in detailed format (maxthon compatible) or in standard format,
- use Proxy Automatic Configuration (PAC) file to set specific sites to connect through specific proxies or proxy groups,
- if a proxy in a proxy group cannot be connected, the PAC file will try the next proxy. Failed proxies will not be tried again in 30 minutes,
- if all proxies in a proxy group cannot be connected, the PAC file will try to connect directly,
- host name support wildcard "*" & "?".

Notes:
- Proxy Helper can only search and check HTTP proxies,
- this plugin uses the activex component "FileSystemObject", which may be deemed/blocked by anti virus as virus/trojan,
- a search may take several minutes to complete, users can continue browsing during a search (the title will animate gently),
- if a proxy can be connected but access is denied, the PAC file will NOT try the next proxy in the proxy group,
- all changes to the PAC file will be effective only after restart of maxthon.

Check and update proxies
- press "Check" button in Proxy Helper's main dialog, the "Check Proxies" dialog will appear after checking has been finished;
- if there are failed proxies (in red) select replacement proxies;
- for proxies used by the PAC file press the "update PAC" button;
- for maxthon proxies:
1. for ANSI maxthon or if all proxy names do not contain UNICODE characters, export the proxies to a list and import the list to maxthon with "Clean proxies in the category first" checked (non-replaced proxies will also be exported and preserved).
2. others users have to open maxthon's proxies settings dialog and change the ip address manually. The "Check Proxies" dialog will not be locked by maxthon's setting dialog. Users can right click the replacement ip address to copy to clipboard.

Setup the PAC
- open options > internet options > connections > LAN settings... (broadband)/Settings... (dialup);
- uncheck "Automatically detect settings" and uncheck "Use a proxy server for your LAN (broadband)/this connection (dialup)";
- check "Use automatic configuration script";
- enter the PAC file address "file://C:\Program Files\Maxthon\Plugin\ProxyHelper\UserData\ProxyHelper.pac" (adjust for maxthon folder);
- press OKs to save and exit;
- select "Use IE Proxy" and restart maxthon;
