Allows you to highlight a registry key on a webpage, open up RegEdit, and jump to that key.Registry Tools allows you to highlight a registry key on a webpage and jump to that key in RegEdit. If you don't have any text highlighted, you will be prompted for a key to jump to. If you hit "OK" without entering a key, RegEdit will open up at the root of the registry, "My Computer".

This is made possible by tapping into RegEdit's memory of the last key visited before you last closed RegEdit, so will only work on Win2000 and higher because prior versions did not have the ability to "remember" the last key visited.

This plugin also attempts to fix a malformed key, such as changing front-slashes to back-slashes, removing leading and trailing spaces from each branch of the key, and removing the trailing backslash if it exists.

Note: The plugin is called "Registry Tools" (plural) because if there is enough interest in this plugin the author will add some other functionality, such as a list of favorite or most-often used keys to jump to, the ability to sort the favorites native to RegEdit, etc.
