Click on the icon and Maxthon will close all tabs and exit.
Make sure you have the Maxthon option "General->Show Tray Icon->Close to System Tray" set and that you answer "Yes, don't ask again" on the question. Do you want to close all tabs (if you get it) to make it work the way requested.
