Removes floating, sticky or drop-in advertisements.Remove Floating Ads will remove floating/sticky/drop-in advertisements.

The plugin uses the idea of DeFloatAds by Sic in identifying floating objects (credits and thanks to Sic!). It will work more agressively than DeFloatAds and will also work recursively in frames.

This plugin can list all images/flashes removed so users can identify any overkilled image/flash.

Note:

Cannot use dropdown menu to exclude current site in unicode 178.
Cannot click link to exclude removed ad in unicode 178.

System requirements: Maxthon 1.0.0178 or MyIE2.Users can click on the link of any image/flash to exclude it from being removed in the future.

Users who start this plugin automatically after page loads, can exclude the current web site through the drop-down menu.

The exclusion list can also be edited manually through the drop-down menu.

Important:

The plugin consists of 2 versions - one for Maxthon and another for MyIE2 (for transition). Users should use the max version for Maxthon and the mie2 version for MYIE. Users may modify the folder name of plugins but should not modify any file names inside. Otherwise the plugins may not work.

Please note that the plugin may not work properly in the unicode version of the current Maxthon beta.
